I found this book to be thought provoking and well written. It was an easy read and I picked up a bunch of tips to help me run my business more efficiently and keep me organized.
Read and complete the exercises in Dr. Jim Hill’s book, “Giving Away Power,” and you’ll be on the way to becoming a better manager and leader in your organization! The information was based on well documented scientific studies and his many years of rich experience in this very important field.

Found it to be a very useful and informative book providing good ideas on empowering and motivating people. The exercises were especially interesting and well-defined. As a young person, new to management, I found it very helpful.

Jim's book captured the missing element this often exist in a Success Driven society. This element is how to share and build a collaborative culture in a fast moving world. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a different prospective in understanding how to create an innovative work environment.
You will find this book inspirational as is Mr. Hill. But that's not all, the material is practical and useful as well. Quick read. Well worth it.
This book was a pleasure to read as it was short and straight to the point with "apply now" written all over it. I liked the simplicity and genuineness of its wording and structure and was basic and simple enough to be unique amongst the mainstream. What is power? Why is it so hard for people to give it away? How can we judge those who act on it once they have it? Is there such a thing as giving away too much power in the workplace and what controls/measure can people have in place to prevent things from getting out of hand. This really short and easy to read book covers an almost emotional intelligence like ground up methodology to get you thinking at the very least of the dynamics in your organization and the impacts they have to overall attainment of the goal. Pleasure to read and thought invoking indeed!!!
